Christmas 2009
Such a busy time. Christmas is always a mad rush to see everyone and at the same time try and relax.
First it was North to Nth Beach and Urunga for christmas with the Machons, Garratts and Nolans. This was great and a lovely time. The weather was mostly kind with and not too hot.
Poppy Ian got out the van and parked it on Vanessa's lawn which was great. saturday night and we all went to carols at Urunga. Jasmin performed for the crowd and we watched jas' sing some christmas carols.
By mid week we were off south to Newcastle. we ad chosen the hottest day of the week and soon we had decided the best place for a cool break we at home and around at a friends pool. We finally arrived in Newcastle at 7pm and the scrolling display sign announced that it was 38 degrees.
Newcastle was hot and busy. Ruby loved the beach in the morning and then we were off to see Santa at the shopping center. Which was just like the rest of the Hunter had chosen to do all their chritmas shopping on christmas eve.
That evening it was a wander up the street to see the lights and below is a video of the evening and then christmas day.
